South Korean Science Ministry Begin Tests on Energy Blockchain System
South Korean authorities have pledged to increase renewable energy’s share of the electricity generation mix and in December 2017, South Korean Science Ministry and KEPCO (Korea Electric Power Corporation) announced it was to begin trials of a blockchain based service to allow prosumers to sell electricity directly to their neighbours.
